Small Talk in Hebrew
Listen to the only podcast that serves vocabulary for Hebrew learners in an easy going fun & engaging way. With only a few minutes at a time you׳ll find yourself learning new words in Hebrew with ease.
And this time: Small talk!
Asking: How are you?
To a male: Ma ShLomKha?
To a female: Ma ShloMekh?
To Plural: Ma ShlomKhem?
* We have another form for Plural Feminine (Only girls): Ma ShlomKheN? replacing the M with N at the end of the word. But a lot of people are not using it. So you׳ll better know a plural feminine form exists, but it won׳t be the end of the world to address a group of ladies with “Ma ShlomKheM“.
Asking: What׳s up?
- Ma Koreh? (What׳s happening)
- Ma Nishma? (What׳s being heard?)
- Ma HaMaTsav? (What׳s the situation?)
- Ma KhaDash? (What׳s new?)
- Ma HaEenYaNim? (What׳re the matters?)
- “All good?”
- Hakol Tov / BeSeDer?
- Hakol Tov / BeSeDer!
